Time: All day

The digital sector is growing and digital communication skills are becoming an essential tool for more and more industries. It’s become a growing source of employment, with a huge variety of career paths available. The Digital Skills day can help you navigate through the variety of career choices on offer and give you the information you need to make informed decisions about your future.

This day of events has something for everyone, no matter what stage they are at in their career, whether they are are a company looking for new staff, educator looking to broaden their knowledge base, or parent trying to find the best advice for their child. Come along and let us inform and excite you, and give concrete advice on where to go next. There will also be opportunities for current students and those in work seeking to move forward in the digital sector to meet creative companies and potential collaborators.

Meet professionals currently performing your dream job and find out what it’s really like; get advice on your CV with a one-on-one CV surgery; learn how to present your work in compelling ways with our portfolio talk by creative and tech recruiters Ad-Lib and even get a taste of what skills you’ll learn in a code training course.

If you’re a creative company, or a business looking for people with creative digital skills, you can find out about your options to find talent, source an intern or apprentice, and meet skilled professionals with the knowhow your business needs to grow.

The day closes with a Career Path Panel of industry leaders, giving you the opportunity to find out how they got started, and what advice they have for young people entering the industry, or looking to cross-train.
